Statement of Client’s Rights.

As a client of Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service, you have the right to:

  • Service provided by qualified staff.

  • Service without discrimination to race, creed, citizenship, religion, color, sex, national origin or ancestry, alienage or citizenship status, age, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability to pay.

  • Participation in the development of your treatment.

  • Confidentially.

  • Review your case record in accordance with SFCS policy.

  • Accept or refuse service.

  • Request a change of therapist.

  • Examine and receive an explanation of bill of service.

  • Direct grievances to Executive Director.

  • Receive a copy of your rights.
