Welcome to Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service (SFCS). We are a nationally recognized nonprofit family service agency, accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
For over 100 years, SFCS has been a cornerstone in the community, offering counseling services and support programs to individuals and families at all stages of life.
Our mission is to strengthen and support family life, contributing to the well-being of the entire community. We believe that healthy families are the foundation of a thriving community.

How we help.
At SFCS, we use a family-systems approach in all our programs, understanding that one person’s challenges impact all family members. We recognize that each individual’s perspective is shaped by their prior family experiences.
We’re here to help individuals, couples, and families address day-to-day challenges such as behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and financial stress. We also support them through life transitions, including adolescence, divorce, aging parents, and more.
